I've been getting calls off what looks like a Bristol number but the last four digits keep changing, like they’re just cycling through a bunch of them. This has been happening on and off for a few months now. Turns out, all these numbers are linked to Twilio Ireland Limited, which seems to be a telecom service used by scammers. No doubt, it’s a scam!

Got a call about some dodgy bill stuff, honestly hope those scammers just disappear for good.

Best not to pick up when it feels like a scam. Just hang up straight away and don’t bother replying. It’s safer to ignore these calls completely.

My home phone flashed up a message from BT alongside this number asking if it was a nuisance call? Turns out it really was. When I looked into the number, I found out that it’s meant to be from the Bristol area, with the 0117 code, but this particular number isn’t from any official range. 🙄🙄🙄 If you’ve had a ring from this number, chances are someone’s faking their details. According to Ofcom, numbers starting with 0117463 aren’t meant to be given out at all.

Got a call on my landline from a number I didn't know. Pretty sure it's just another scam. Why do these idiots keep trying? Blocked it straight away after they failed to trick me!

I’ve had this random number ringing me a couple of times, mostly early in the morning before 9am. They never bother to leave any voicemail, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.
