Received a call purporting to be from Amazon, insisting that an I-phone had been purchased on my account for £499. Surely a scam. Just block the number!

Yet another pesky scammer has burdened me with an unsolicited call! They didn't bother to leave a message, which is all too typical. The previous ones even subjected me to their dreadful music, sending it through my voicemail twice! Unbelievable, really!

I didn't recognise the number, so I let it ring. This marks the third time I’ve received a dodgy call from someone using a Bristol area code. It appears these scammers are developing a new tactic. I've gone ahead and blocked the number and reported it as well.

I've now received a second call from this number, 01174635498 based in Bristol. They didn’t bother leaving a message on my answering machine; it rang at 4:56 PM today, the 4th of September, 2024. I’m really quite exasperated with all these calls I've been getting over the past month. At this rate, my call blocker will run out of options, and I’ll be stuck in a right pickle!

I received a text stating, "You have missed a call from me," claiming to be from O2. However, I didn’t hear a ringtone at all, which led me to think this isn’t actually from O2!
