I received a call from someone claiming to be from my internet provider, but the chap couldn't even name the right company. He insisted he was from Sky, yet I'm actually with BT. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I haven’t a clue who’s behind this number, but it seems to be a landline from Bristol, and apparently, loads of folks have had calls from it. Personally, I’d suggest just blocking and removing it. I reckon that if it were a bona fide business, I’d have been able to trace its name linked to the number by now. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve encountered something like this, and I doubt it’ll be the last.
