They keep ringing non stop but never say anything or leave a message. Since the lockdown ended, it’s only gotten worse. These intrusive calls are just annoying and feel like harassment. Honestly, they ought to be stopped for good...

Got a call from some ‘Housing Repair’ lot, asking if I had any repairs left undone on my home that they’d legally push the council to fix. When I asked the lady (Clarice, I think) to send me their details through proper post, she said they’d do it - not that I’m expecting anything in the post anytime soon!

Every time I pick up, the call just disconnects. Attempting to return the call leads me to a dead end, as the number turns out to be non-existent. This pattern seems to mirror the experience with numerous scammers who bombard me with calls - I’ve been receiving several each day lately. Why does the telecommunications sector permit individuals to show bogus numbers? I can’t fathom why anyone with good intentions would resort to such tricks. It’s high time we put an end to this nonsense, don’t you think?

Got a call from someone saying they were doing a housing repairs survey. They wanted to know if I had any repairs that needed fixing. I told them it wasn’t their concern, that I owned the house and hadn’t asked for a call. Seemed dodgy to me. Plus, they said they were from somewhere like 600 miles away from where I live, so definitely fishy!

Just got a call from yet another so-called housing repair guy. When I asked, he claimed to speak for all housing services. I told him I sort everything out with my own housing lot. Another one to add to the list!
