I'm baffled by this whole situation! They rang me seven times and promptly disconnected as soon as I answered. What on earth could be the reason behind that? It’s all a bit bizarre, isn’t it?

I thought it might be a mate’s landline since the number is local to Bristol, so I picked up and said hello a couple of times. But the lady on the other end was chuckling with people in the background and didn’t sound like she was ready for a call. When the bloke said it was from something starting with S, I just said no thanks and ended the call. Afterwards, I blocked the number. Checking it out online, loads of people have flagged it as spam too.

Some bloke rang, said it was about some government payout or something. Proper insistent and I got a weird vibe off it. Tried telling him no a few times, but he just kept going on and then cut the call. Seemed dodgy as anything.
