Got a call from 0117 462 8745 claiming to be from EE, saying they could reduce my bills by 40%. They transferred me to someone in “billing” who couldn’t even confirm my current payments, which made me suspicious since they were supposedly EE. I just kept chatting for a bit before saying I had to go when they started asking for my personal info. What’s scary is they somehow managed to get the genuine EE to send me a PIN and then asked me for it, but I didn’t hand it over.

Got a bunch of dodgy calls from people saying they had a discount for EE network. I rung them a few times to check, then they started getting really abusive and claimed it was 24% off, not the 25% they said, on NHS health insurance. Proper scammy behaviour.
