Got a call from 01174525118 and it’s definitely a scam. BT really ought to cut off that number, it’s clear they’re just scammers. With all the tech we have nowadays, why on earth can’t these annoying cold callers be blocked for good? There should be a way to drag these people into a Small Claims Court to prove what their intentions are, and if the judge rules they’re just nuisance cold callers, they should cop a big fine. OFCOM honestly seems powerless in dealing with this rubbish.

Loads of people have mentioned this already, but this number is linked to 21a Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF, and the name on it is Stuart Wright. At least now we can tell where this dodgy caller is based! No surprise it’s a decent-sized house, considering how many folks he’s been trying to scam!

Got a ring from this number a few times earlier, said it was a tree surgeon out of Bristol or something... but I’ve seen others mention it’s linked to different locations too. Bit odd if you ask me. I’m just gonna ignore it though.
