I received a phone call from a chap who seemed to know my first name and kept referring to me as ‘mate’. It took a rather odd turn when he inquired about any debts I might have. I simply replied that I didn’t have any and chose to wrap it up there. I’d suggest you handle it similarly if you find yourself in a similar situation.

This number kept ringing a few times, and when it called again today, I picked up. The person said they were from some kind of debt survey? I told him I wasn’t feeling great, but he insisted it’d only take a minute. I told him I only answered because I’m fed up with these kinds of calls. He repeated it’d be just a quick survey, but I said again that I’m unwell, didn’t he get that? Then he just hung up on me.
