Got a call from someone calling himself Shaun, claimed he was ringing from the lottery. Said if I handed over my bank info, he’d send some free tickets through the post. Yeah, right - no way I’m falling for that scam. I’ve just had a rather odd encounter where they stated my name and even mentioned my address. Strangely, they didn’t require any further details from me; instead, they claimed they were dispatching complimentary lottery tickets. I can’t help but wonder what these characters are really after!

I kept getting calls from 0161 870 1523, and they said they were from some lottery, asking me to give my bank details. After I blocked that number, another one popped up a couple of days later - 0117 450 0029 - also pretending to be the lottery! I've blocked that one too now.
