This morning, I received a call from a gentleman with an Asian accent. He identified himself as being from Currys Mobile and was touting some bargain mobile phone contracts.

I picked up the call, but they just disconnected without uttering a word.

I picked up the phone, but the connection was dreadful. The person on the other end spoke with a pronounced Asian accent and, despite asking him for his identity twice, I couldn’t quite grasp what he was saying. Eventually, he just hung up. The caller ID suggested it was likely a scam.
