For the past fortnight, I've been receiving incessant harassment from this number. To make matters worse, they seem to have gotten hold of my banking information, and it’s left me quite unsettled.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with the mobile company Three.
As I’m already a customer of theirs, they proposed a more affordable plan.
In hindsight, I should’ve been wary when they started probing about my existing contract.
They tried to entice me with a new phone deal, which I promptly turned down.
I've got a gut feeling this was just a ruse to filch my card information.
While I did share my date of birth, when they pressed for my address, I told them it was up to them to find out; at that point, they terminated the call.
To top it all off, if you try to return the call, it’s as if the number doesn’t even exist.

Claimed to be from EE, offering a fantastic deal on a new phone. When I mentioned I was with Vodafone, he assured me it was possible to keep my old number while remaining with them. He seemed quite keen to collect my bank details, but unfortunately, I didn’t have that information on hand. He mentioned he would call me back later, but I felt it best to verify the number first. It was a Bristol number, and his accent sounded distinctly Indian.

They rang me up pretending to be O2, saying I’d been picked for a 50% discount deal. I said I wasn’t interested and just ended the call. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it.
