A lady with a noticeable Asian accent rang me up regarding some promotional offer. I simply told her to clear off. Just in the last month, I’ve received two similar calls from numbers 0208 079 1397 and 8023. I’ve reported them through the ICO's website. I suspect the 8079 part of those earlier numbers belongs to the same outfit that called me today. I don’t often share my phone number, and as soon as I catch a whiff of a foreign accent, I hang up instantly - and I reckon you ought to do the same!
