On 26 August 2023 I got a call from some guy with an Asian accent offering me a “fantastic” 25% discount on my phone bills. He kept switching between clear English when trying to sell me the deal and really mumbling when I asked questions like how much my usual bill was. After me asking three times, he suddenly said it was £90, which is totally wrong. When I asked who the account holder was, he muttered something. Then, when I said he must already know since he’d called me, he just hung up. Definitely a scam.
