I received a call from someone claiming they were contacting me on behalf of Sky about some supposed problems with my broadband. The thing is, I don't have any broadband issues, nor am I actually a Sky customer! Quite baffling, really.

Got a call the other day from someone claiming to be a UK mobile network, but it was clear as day they were ringing from abroad - definitely not anywhere near Bristol! Total scam alert.

So this woman with an Asian accent rang me claiming to be from Three. I told her that it’s not called Network 3 - I said I knew because I work for Three myself (which isn’t true, but obviously she wasn’t either). She seemed a bit thrown off, said sorry, wished me a nice afternoon, then ended the call. I gave a cheeky “scammer” as I put the phone down.
