Got a call outta the blue from someone saying they were from Currys or PC World, asking about my phone and contract. Said they could sort me out with a better deal or upgrade. Sounded like a typical cold call to me.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she represented Curry’s PC World, trying to sell me a mobile phone upgrade. I wasn’t interested and honestly doubted if it was genuine, so I just ended the call. If this is a real offer, I reckon this kind of poor sales tactic doesn’t win them many customers.
