My mobile classified it as junk, and the caller didn’t leave any voicemail, so I chose not to return the call.

I received a telephone call from a woman speaking with a pronounced Chinese accent. She seemed to be rambling on about O2 and a supposed 30% discount. It was clear she wanted some personal details to prove that I was the account holder, but I declined to provide any information. I suggested that she could send an email if she had my contact details on file. When she asked me to provide my email address, I reiterated that if they indeed had it, they could just drop me a message, which should reach the account holder. I even mentioned the possibility that this could be a scam. At that point, her chatter became increasingly incoherent, so I decided to terminate the call.
