Got a call from someone claiming to be with Vodafone. Told them I’m not even on their network and asked why they were ringing me. They just ended the call right away.

Oh for sure, this was totally a scam, no doubt about it.

Totally a scam, no doubt about it. They act like they're from Vodafone and honestly, I almost got caught out. Thankfully, I rang Vodafone myself and they told me straight up it was a con. They try to chat with you on a web chat while you're still on the phone, supposedly sorting through security stuff and all that.

Vodafone never rings you directly, so if you get a call claiming to be from your phone company, just hang up - it’s definitely a scam.

Definitely a scam, they tried acting like they were from Vodafone. I first got a call from 0117 441 1456 and ended up hanging up. Then they rang me back on another number, 029 2128 0816, and started asking why I’d cut off the call. Really suspicious behaviour.

Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent saying "Hello sir, I am calling from..." then I just ended the call straight away.

Got a phone call from some bloke with a thick Indian accent, sounded dodgy to me. He was trying to convince me to switch my Vodafone plan, but I ain't even got Vodafone. Seems like one of those call centre scams to me.

Got a call supposedly from Vodafone, but honestly, it felt dodgy. The person’s English was really bad and you could hear loads of noise in the background. Feels like they’re just making calls to hit some quota or something. Definitely smells like a scam to me.
