Received a call from this number today, alongside four others from Bristol and even one from Leicester. It's been rather irritating as I keep blocking them, yet they just ring back using a different number every time!

Highly suspect, I reckon. They called me twice, and when I picked up, I could hear some chatter in the background-definitely sounded like an office environment-before they disconnected. The number's linked to Bristol, which fits with the area code, but I'm still not buying it.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, claiming to be from this thing called ‘The National Tenancy Deposit Scheme’. He assumed I was renting privately and asked, but I told him straight up I own my house. Then he wanted to know if I’d been a private tenant at any point in the past ten years, which I admitted I had. He kept asking me several times if I’d got back my deposit, and I kept telling him “Yeah, that’s the whole point, you get it back”. After that, he just abruptly ended the call. Definitely sounds like a phishing attempt to me.

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, wanted to talk to me. I said, "How can I help?" and before I knew it, he just hung up. Maybe he picked up on the suspicion in my voice and decided it wasn’t worth his time.
