Got a call from a bloke in India saying my kitchen appliances from the manufacturer were out of warranty or expired or something. Then he started asking random questions about my home. He clearly had no clue and just sounded like he was trying to trick me. I hung up and blocked the number right away. Total scammer.

The number 0117401900 isn’t known to me, but the person called claiming it was about my car renewal and insisted I pay for this year's insurance that ends next month. I’m not really convinced, sounds a bit dodgy. Weirdly enough, my car insurance does actually expire on 22nd October, so I’m gonna ring my insurance provider directly to double-check before doing anything.

Number 0117441900 called me on my mobile and sounded really dodgy. The guy was claiming to be from some insurance company, which is weird coz my car insurance actually expires next month on the 22nd. How did he even know that stuff about me and my insurance? I’m defo not giving out any more info until I’ve spoken to my actual insurer first.

Goskippy car insurance is terrible. They’re not really an insurer, just middlemen who pass everything on. I switched to another provider and told them, but they just keep ringing and texting me non stop. I got a better deal from a well known insurer but honestly, I’d have happily paid more just to stay clear of these lot. Had to block their number.

Goskyppy brokers, probably just the same old thing, “Hello mate, fancy buying some rubbish today?” Please don’t let them eat up your time with their fake promises and rubbish. Avoid them completely cos they’ll vanish soon enough - they’ve got loads of mates working there, like customer service folk who push customers to cancel their own policies so the brokers get cancellation fees. Honestly one of the worst insurance brokers still operating in the UK.

Go Skippy: Keeps ringing me nearly every day. I never answer calls from numbers I don’t know. They don’t even bother leaving a voicemail. Oddly enough, my insurance is up for renewal soon, but there’s no way I’m going with Go Skippy, even if they offered the cheapest deal!

This is daft, I don’t even have a car, so dunno why they keep ringing me. My missus had insurance with them but forgot to include his no claims bonus from last year, so he ended up shellin’ out more. The firm never even informed us when the finance was rejected, after texting to say the direct debit was sorted. Then they had the nerve to say we’re behind on 2 months of payments.

I rang the number back and spoke to a bloke calling himself James Thomas, but he didn’t sound British at all, and said he was from HMRC. I asked for his address, and he said he was based in Euston Tower, London.
