some woman rang me from this number, asking if i was the person she wanted. she went on about some scan appointment supposedly set for the 6th, which i definitely don’t have. when i told her i had no clue what she was talking about, she just said "sorry to disturb you" and ended the call. feels like she was trying to trick me into pressing a button or something to move the scam along.

Lately ive been getting calls from numbers ending in 659, 658 and 657 all pretty close together.

I reckon it was one of those scam calls claiming to be from “UK benefits” or something similar. They seem to use a clever setup, ringing from loads of numbers across the UK, both mobiles and landlines. I’ve reported them to the police and OFCOM multiple times. The calls vanish for a bit, but then they pop up again, often using a different name. It seems like they’re after personal info rather than trying to sell something, though I normally just hang up once they say who they’re supposed to be.

Called that number twice, both times no answer or anyone picking up. Pretty sure it’s just dead or abandoned.

Some bloke called me by my first name, which is a bit creepy, how do these muppets manage to get my phone number?! He said he was William from some profit company, reckoned I wanted to make a bit of cash. I told him I’m on the TPS and he really shouldn't be ringing me up, then the line just went dead. Number’s blocked now.

Saw the number pop up but didn’t answer cause it was random. The person on the line stayed quiet when I picked up. Ended up just hanging up and blocked the number. Feels like it was probably a scam.

some bloke with a weird accent started rambling on about some kind of currency training or whatever, claiming it was because i showed interest in investing in stuff i dont even know about. best thing is just to hang up and block them.

Got a call from some bloke with an Italian accent claiming he was from the ‘profit centre’. Said he wanted me to put money into some dodgy scheme. As soon as I began asking a few questions, he just cut me off. Definitely smells like a scam.

It was about 9.30 in the evening when someone rang and immediately asked for me by name. When I tried to find out who was calling, they just dropped the call straight away. Very strange!

They’re really sketchy and honestly feel quite threatening. I think there should be some proper legal action taken against them to stop this rubbish.

I've been getting loads of missed calls lately from different parts of the UK, including this one. Not entirely sure what they're up to now, but it’s a big change from before when I used to get all those calls from abroad trying to pull the missed call trick.

I got a call from some guy overseas, going on about forex trading and asking if I’d ever tried it. I told him I hadn’t got a clue what he was on about and that he could do one and bother someone else. Weirdly, he just ended the call! :)
