I've received yet another unsolicited call. Some chap with a foreign accent is attempting to pry my banking details from me. Quite annoying, really!

Got a call from this number yesterday and didn’t know it. Looked it up on “Who Called Me” and sure enough, it’s just another scam trying its luck. Definitely blocking it now.

A chap claiming to be from BT, an Indian fellow, rang me up and declared that my internet had been tampered with. I ended up leaving the receiver off the hook until it started whistling away.

I received a call from a 3G provider claiming they’ve got a new phone deal with a lower monthly cost. The clever trick is to keep them chatting for as long as possible, which means they’re not pestering anyone else throughout the day. Just tell them you’ll ring them back soon. The amusing bit is, when you do attempt to dial the number again, it turns out to be 'invalid'! Quite the laugh, isn’t it?
