In just 5 minutes, I got two calls from someone claiming the American police were after me, asking for my bank info. Total scam, obviously!

Someone rang me saying they were from EE and offered a 30% cut on my phone bill. I asked for their customer service number and they told me it was 0207 097 1836. Turns out it’s a total scam. I got in touch with EE myself and they said they hadn’t called me at all today.
