I received a request for my Vodafone account’s PIN code... it turned out to be a fraudulent scheme!

Got a call from someone saying they were from a phone company I’ve never signed up with. The person on the other end was really hard to make out. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I’m pretty sure it was a scam, but honestly, I found it quite amusing. I just threw some random rubbish at them and they got all muddled up. Probably doesn’t do much good, but maybe it keeps them busy so they can’t bother anyone else for a bit…

I picked up the phone and the second I did, they just hung up. Seems like a scam to me, so I’m not answering calls like that again.

Someone rang me saying they were from Vodafone and wanted my PIN. I told them I didn’t know it, and they said they’d arrange a new one for me, plus gave me a 20% bill discount offer. I ended up handing over my email and home address, but when they asked for my bank info to run a credit check and change my direct debit, that’s when I realised it was a scam. They’d sounded genuine up till then. Watch out for this!
