Somebody rang my mum trying to pull a scam, which really upset her. Then, they had the nerve to call back saying she owed £300, claiming she was tied to a contract - which she definitely wasn’t. Such cheek!

Got a call saying we supposedly have insurance on our TV and if we cancel, there’s a £15 fee. They even had our MasterCard info which really freaked us out. They wouldn’t say what brand of TV it was, just called it some kind of Blanket Cover. Honestly, it made us feel really uneasy and worried. We’re definitely getting in touch with our bank to let them know about this.

Got a call from someone pushing some kind of household drainage cover, really pushy and quite annoying.

I got called by this number and then noticed if you ring back, the person actually answers on 01174090868. Seems like it's not their actual number, just one that's been ported. Every time he picks up, it probably costs the scam outfit some cash. Feels like karma, so maybe we should just keep calling him back!
