Got a call from a lady with a strong Asian accent, sounded like she was reading off a script from some dodgy call centre - not very convincing at all. Turned out to be some kind of appliance insurance scam, which I’ve had a few times before. Told her where she could shove that "insurance" and ended the call sharpish.

Got a call from some Asian lady early in the morning, like 8.02am, which was already annoying. She was asking for Janey, but my name’s Jeannie, so I kindly said there’s no one by that name here. Pretty obvious it was just some call centre ringing.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, claiming to sell warranty protection for my washing machine. Said the warranty’s expired, but my machine’s actually more than 16 years old, so no chance. Just told her off and ended the call!

In the past day, this number has called my elderly mum’s place three times. She’s 82, and anyone who knows her is aware not to call too early. So when she’s woken up with an early ring, it really freaks her out. This morning, she was having a hard time getting up to answer it and ended up falling. This kind of behaviour is straight up harassment, and in my mum’s case, it’s caused real harm. Honestly, just stop bothering normal people, you nasty scam artists. You’re truly awful.
