Here we go again, getting nonstop calls with that recorded message about some government programme. It’s rubbish, absolutely not true! This is the same dodgy call centre that got sued and slapped with a huge fine, then folded. Now they’re back under a different name! They peddle the appointments they manage to set to other firms who avoid the fines. Proper sneaky business. Honestly, the best move is to agree to an appointment, figure out which company it is, and then flood them with calls and emails. Let them have a taste of their own medicine!

Got a voicemail about some government plan to swap out LPG or oil boilers for folks on benefits. They also talked about homeowners and private landlords. The call looked like it was from abroad on one of my mobiles, but on the BT landline it showed as 01174038525. The message asked to press a key to opt out, can't remember which one now. Anyway, I've blocked it with BT Call Protect. They keep calling from new numbers whenever I block the old ones, been dealing with this for a while now.
