I received a call from someone claiming to be with Legal and General. The woman on the line inquired if I'd be willing to participate in a survey. Feeling a bit wary, I decided to hang up instead.

On Tuesday, 13th April at around 5:57 pm, I got this weird automated call with some rambling voice claiming to be from Legal & General.

My 92 year old dad got a call from this number tonight. He didn’t say anything cause he’s quite hard of hearing and they were probably trying to chat from India. We always tell him not to reply and he just stayed silent till they gave up and hung up. After that, he was really shaken and called us up saying ‘I think I got scammed’. It’s really awful and needs to be put to an end. He isn’t a BT customer though, so we’ll ask the post office to see if his provider offers any call blocking service.
