i wasnt quite sure who it was at first but they claimed to be with ‘telephone blocking uk’. they knew my husbands name, our address and even the postcode. when i said i wouldn’t give my date of birth, the guy suddenly got quite hostile. i told him my number was on the telephone preference service, but he just said it was no longer valid. already had three calls like this.

The call was pretty bad quality and the guy, Jacob, sounded Asian. He was talking about blocking calls. I told him I figured it was a scam and then ended the call and blocked the number.
