From reading the comments here, it seems like this could be one of those cold call scams.

I got a call from somebody saying they were from buffalo marketing or something similar, ringing about supporting the Colston Hall. They were asking for a donation of £20 a month over 4 years, with a chance to name a seat or whatever. The woman on the line was really nice and didn’t push me too much. But then she did mention that they get paid £14 for each call they make, so I’m not sure if my money would mostly go to the hall or just the marketing firm. Kind of makes you wonder if it’s worth it or just better to say no.
