Got a call from someone saying they were with ‘reclaim services’. It felt like a proper scam with a smooth spiel about me supposedly having £3,500 back from PPI. Totally dodgy.

I didn’t pick up, it went straight to voicemail so they just ended the call. After checking out this site, I’ve blocked the number, just like I did earlier today with another one - both had the exact same kind of comments.

If you’ve got an iPhone, you can stop the unknown calls without blocking them. Just go to the Settings, find the Phone section, then scroll until you see ‘Silence Unknown Callers’ and switch it on. Your phone will still get the calls but won’t ring, so you won’t be bothered by them.
