My wife got a call about some Amazon subscription thing. I tried calling the number back to check what it was about, but the bloke just cut the line straight away. I rang again a bit later and he did the same thing. Feels like it might be some kind of scam to me.

I got a voicemail from some American lady asking if I wanted to cancel my Amazon Prime. This has happened two times in just three days. We just left it alone, not bothering with the pest!

Got a call today around 12:50 from what sounded like an American woman claiming to be from Amazon. She said they’d taken money from my debit card for a membership. The number seems to be linked to Bristol, according to Imap. I don’t shop with Amazon, so this’s obviously fishy. I’m going to get in touch with my bank to check if it’s a scam. Anyone can report this to Ofcom or the police if needed.
