I got a call where the bloke started off by using my first name, then claimed he was with the lottery and said I’d won 10 lucky dips as some kind of ‘goodwill’ thing. I quickly shut it down, telling him I wasn’t falling for it and he wasn't going to get any of my bank info. Sorted!

Got a call from this number earlier today and the bloke seemed to know my name and where I live! He told me I’d been picked for 10 free lottery tickets for the Wednesday draw and they’d post them out. I told him I wasn’t interested, and he sounded proper shocked, asking if I was sure since it was a freebie. When I said I bet they’d ask for my bank info or something later, he just cut me off. Definitely feels like a scam, never had that one pop up before.
