While that’s not against the law, I found their reluctance to disclose their company name when I inquired rather off-putting. Interestingly enough, they were ringing me on my mobile to discuss matters concerning my mum. The only conceivable way they could have obtained my number is through Diabetes UK after we participated in one of their information sessions last year. I had previously expressed concerns regarding the potential sharing or selling of my phone number with third parties and was reassured it wouldn’t occur.
