On 14th March 2018, around 11 in the morning, I got a call from 01173275269. The person spoke really quick with a thick foreign accent, said barely anything, then just hung up. I had no clue what they were trying to say.

Got a call from 01173275269, some bloke with a foreign accent saying he was from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet security. I told him I’m not a TalkTalk customer, but he kept insisting I was. Then he started rambling about some software he could send me to fix future security issues. I repeated I’m not a customer, and that’s when he suddenly got quite rude and aggressive. At that point, I knew for sure it was a scam - no real company would behave like that.
