Like others have mentioned, it’s a bloke pretending to be from some insurance firm. When I told him I wasn’t keen and asked to have my number taken off their list, he replied, “nah, you just can’t afford it, you’re good for nothing.” Then he started chuckling, going “nah” over and over. Honestly, I don’t think this is legit at all - never had a salesperson be that rude and say “nah” so many times in a row!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Policy Protect UK Ltd and asked if I had life insurance. They said they were based in Manchester, but their phone number was actually from Bristol. When I asked them to delete my info from their records, they just hung up on me.

I don’t recognise this number at all and they didn’t leave a voicemail, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked it.
