Just had a rather unexpected phone call from this number about an hour back. The chap on the other end claimed he was representing a firm named Legal & General, dealing with insurance matters. He proceeded to inquire whether I held a life insurance policy and if I was wed. I told him quite firmly to take my number off their records.

Got a phone call from a woman earlier, and honestly, she was super rude and pushy. When I asked why she needed my personal details, she said she was actually doing me a favour! I ended up blocking the number, but they’ve got loads of different ones. Not sure what she was after, but her attitude was totally unprofessional and definitely not how a legit company should behave.

They kept asking if I was married, had kids, worked, and if I had a life insurance policy. When I said no, I asked why they needed all that info. They said it was just a standard review. I told them I had no policy and asked if they were trying to sell me something. They denied it but wouldn’t say why they were calling, then just hung up on me. Feels sketchy - could easily be a trick to gather personal info and misuse it. Best to steer clear of calls like this.

The caller specifically requested to speak with my husband. When I inquired about the identity of the caller, he simply replied with "John." Sensing something was off, I pressed him further, and that’s when he seemed to realise I was onto him. He quickly wrapped up the conversation with a rather insincere "Have a nice day" before hanging up. Quite the dodgy encounter, I must say!
