Got a call about signing a petition aimed at pushing the government to do more for Cancer research. I told the guy to text me a link to the petition so I could check it out first. Never got the link though, so I ended up blocking the number. Strange thing is, he had my name and number and even thanked me for past donations, then asked if there was a special reason why I donated. Felt a bit off getting that call randomly like that!

That was pretty much the only thing they wanted to know during the call. Like I’ve said before, never give out anything over the phone, no matter what. If you want to give or increase your donation, just use their official website through the normal links or a verified email they’ve sent you before.

I was a bit cautious, thinking they might try to ask for money, but they didn’t.
