Got a call from Amnesty International about fundraising. Chatted with a very nice lady and although I couldn't give any money right then, it all appeared genuine. She shared details about some of the cases they’re involved in and gave me their official website, sticking around to answer my questions for about 10 minutes after I told her I wasn’t able to donate. Of course, don’t just take my word for it - always be careful if something doesn’t feel right.

Someone rang me at 9 in the morning - way too early. If it was really Amnesty International, I doubt it, since I never share my number with any charity. I don’t want them invading my privacy with those constant fundraising calls, so I’m quite doubtful it was them calling so early.
