I got a call from someone claiming to be from Apex Insurance, talking about a renewal for a person who’s never worked here. They said they used to be in contact with this individual, which seemed odd. When I asked if we currently had any dealings with their company, there was a long silence. Pressed on this, since talking about a renewal suggests an existing relationship, the caller suddenly got defensive and denied ever mentioning a renewal. The moment I asked if the calls were recorded, they just cut off. I’d be careful if you get a call from this number or company.

So I decided to check who it was through "Who Called Me" and honestly, I'm relieved I didn’t pick up again. They’re really persistent and it’s starting to get on my nerves.
