Received a call earlier claiming to be from TalkTalk, stating they were enhancing my line to fibre optic and would be dispatching a new router. They mentioned they needed to verify the line and requested I conduct an Ookla speed test. The initial test revealed a rather dismal speed, so I decided to run another one, without their knowledge, and it showed a significantly better result. Then, the chap insisted I download something called AweSun. While he was prattling on, I did a quick search on it and found that it stated, "With AweSun Client, you can quickly assist Android devices from either computers or mobile gadgets. You can transfer files, check your mobile device information, adjust Wi-Fi settings, and more. Simply install AweSun Client on your Android, and you'll have the ability to control it remotely whenever desired." I replied, "So you're suggesting I install an application that would allow you to take over my computer?" To which he firmly said, "Yes." I promptly responded, "No chance! Farewell."

I found that there were no voicemails left when I checked my answering machine. I've decided to block that number as it might be a potential scammer.
