Whenever I get a call from a number I don’t know and it’s a cold caller, they normally hang up before the voicemail picks up. If it does go to the recorded message, I listen quickly to check if it’s someone I actually want to speak with and cut in if it is. Otherwise, I just hit the cancel button. Seems like that’s stopped most of the annoying cold calls or scams for me now.
