Called by someone named Frederick from '118', though I doubt he's actually from there. He said it was about market research and wanted to talk to the director or whoever handles money stuff. When I asked why money would be involved in research, he just ended the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

0117 301 8142 has been ringing me repeatedly. Each time, there's someone yelling at me as soon as I pick up, even after I've inquired whether they're trying to sell me something unnecessary. They won't take no for an answer and seem rather hostile; it's obviously a dodgy scheme. The caller's accent suggests they've got an Indian background, and their grasp of the English language leaves a lot to be desired.

They say they're with DiscountTelecom, but they're really scammers from India, pretending to be based in Stockton on Tees, even though the call shows up as coming from a Bristol number. They try to lure you into visiting their dodgy website to look at their broadband and phone deal, supposedly because BT are shutting down copper lines. I usually act like I'm interested and keep chatting with them to waste their time, hoping they won't scam anyone else.

Got a call from some con artists pretending to be from 118 or Discounted Utilities Online. The bloke on the phone, with an Indian accent, was really rude and started getting all pushy when I said I wasn’t interested. Honestly, they should find proper work instead of bothering people!

Rang the number back and there was a message saying it was for market research and there’s nothing more needed from me right now. Feels like they’re fishing for info to sell onto someone else.

They asked if I owned the business, but since I’m just a security guard and definitely not making 4 million a year, I’m pretty sure that’s a no. Still, kinda funny to think about!

He called to check my business hours and asked if I was running the place. Then wanted the name on the business records. I said I’d have to speak to our Head office. He then swore at me and asked why people like me have to answer the phone, said he needed someone smarter to talk to. I just told him if you pay rubbish, you get rubbish and ended the call.
