Oh no, this is disappointing. I handed over some books and gave my email and phone details so Oxfam could sort the gift aid thing. I sent an email to [email protected] on the 20th of June 2015 at 14:24, regarding my phone number, which I wanted removed from their call list. I followed up with, "Thank you kindly." To my surprise, just five days later, I received a reply confirming, "Thank you for reaching out to us. We have successfully removed your number from our calling list." Fingers crossed that this does the trick!

But then they keep your number to bug you again later and even pass it on to other charities. Because of that, I’ve decided not to donate through texts anymore.
