I got a callback from the National Children’s Deaf Society after I agreed to donate. My phone flagged the call as maybe a scam but it wasn’t. Because I have trouble hearing, I asked if they could send me an email instead of talking on the phone, and they didn’t mind at all. Seems genuine to me.

I didn’t pick up the call but after reading these comments, sounds like it was NDCS calling for donations in my neighbourhood. I wasn’t keen on signing up but there wasn’t any chance to just make a single donation. I told them to call in the afternoon, not the evening, so I’m gonna stop the direct debit!

For the past week, they ring me twice daily but never drop a voicemail. I mean, that's what answering machines are for, right? Since they refuse to leave any message, I'm guessing it's probably some kinda scam.
