Left it ringing, didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar.

Some bloke phoned me saying it was about my washing machine, but he used my old address instead. I told him I rent the place with appliances supplied by the landlord. He mentioned having two different addresses for me and asked which one I was at now. I then turned it round and asked him a couple of things: why does he have two addresses, and why did my phone show his number as spam? He insisted it wasn’t spam, but before answering my first question, he just cut me off and hung up. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a lady about my washing machine’s warranty being expired. Thing is, the machine’s been going for over 15 years, so yeah, it’s definitely past its coverage. When I mentioned that, she just hung up straight away.

I received a rather dubious call claiming that the warranty on my washing machine was close to expiry and that I ought to renew it before the end of February. Given that my washer is over eight years old, I think it's safe to say that any warranty it may have had long expired. I'm certainly not in the market for any dodgy deals from a con artist!

I received a rather peculiar call regarding a washing machine that I’ve never owned! After rambling on for a good ten minutes, I finally had enough and called the cheeky chap out, labelling him a scammer. He indignantly retorted that at least he was earning some cash, while I was “just sitting about”. Rather ironic, considering I’m in a wheelchair! He then took a dig at my accent, claiming it sounded quite rough and Scottish, which I found a bit amusing since I’ve never thought my accent was that dreadful! I told him he resembled an irate little boy, and off he hung, red-faced. It’s just appalling how some people operate, so be wary out there!

Got a call saying my washing machine’s extended warranty was about to expire. They sounded pretty legit at first. But I thought I’d already sorted that a few months back, so I asked if they could send me an email with all the info so I could double-check. They promised to do so, but of course, I haven’t received anything yet.

I rang up about a washing machine I bought ages ago while living at a previous address I haven't occupied for four years now.
