Got a call on 09/07/20 from someone who said they were from Vodafone. They started off by saying they wanted to check if I had any dodgy charges on my phone and asked for some personal info for their data protection. I told them I already have a block on extra fees so there shouldn't be any. Then suddenly they switched and said they were checking if I was on the best tariff and could save me some money. I asked how that's possible since I'm only halfway through a 2-year contract. After that, they just said sorry and hung up. Feels like it wasn’t really Vodafone, since they probably wouldn’t call about tariffs unless your contract was almost up.

Got calls every single week with nothing but that annoying hold music playing forever, definitely a scam. Had to block the number.

Picked up the phone but no one spoke. Tried calling back and all I got was put on hold with some music playing, no message or anything. I’m finished with reporting these calls to Ofcom, they’re absolutely useless when dealing with stuff like this. Like trying to use a chocolate teapot for making tea.
