Blimey, the calls from this number just won’t let up! Like many before me, I foolishly asked for some information from a blinds retailer, but didn’t pick up the first call as I didn’t know who it was. Now, after dodging their calls for a while, I’ve ended up blocking them because I was inundated with two calls a day for days on end. It’s been more than 60 calls at this point! Absolutely dreadful marketing on their part; they ought to have a bit more sense!

Oh, I get it now! I’ve received a couple of calls from this number myself. Interestingly, I had asked for a brochure from a company specialising in services for the visually impaired, but it never arrived. During the initial call, I made it perfectly clear that I’d reach out if I was interested. Yesterday evening, I received a call from a certain number. It only rang twice before they ended the call. Since we purchased Appeal blinds ten years ago and have our home number registered for "Calling Preference", I assume they have the right to use our number. This morning, I decided to dial the 0800 number of Appeal. Shaun answered my call and offered his apologies, assuring me that they will put an end to the calls coming through to our number. He clarified that these calls are being made by a call centre appointed by Appeal. During our conversation, I mentioned to Shaun the potential negative impact these annoying calls could have on the reputation of their business. I sincerely hope that this will be the last instance of such nuisance calls. However, only time will tell if my concerns have truly been addressed.

There is a high probability that if they are selling Appeal Blinds, they may attempt to convince us to upgrade our existing awning, as we have previously purchased from them. However, their attempts may be unsuccessful as the awning we currently have is of excellent quality and still functions perfectly even after approximately ten years. Consequently, it is safe to say that the products they offer are indeed of high quality. Nevertheless, one may not appreciate being persistently pursued by them.
