Picked up and all I got was a click, then some annoying hold music, so I just ended the call. They've rung me about 8 times these last couple of months, same thing every time, so I've just blocked the number now.

I never even registered or anything, no clue how they managed to get my contact. These so-called charities are just companies pretending to be one, and most of the cash they get barely ends up doing any good.

alzheimers society asked me to pay via justgiving. like someone else mentioned, they only had my email, so how did they get hold of my mobile number to call me? after that call and seeing their leaflet that showed a big chunk of the money not actually going to alzheimers research or care, ive decided i wont be taking part in their walks anymore. sure there’s some other dementia charity out there that actually puts the funds where they should go.

they really need to quit pestering folks. that's what annoys people about charities, they just keep bugging you for donations non stop.

These lot keep hassling folks for cash for some memory walk. It’s like they never have enough, always pushing really high targets and making you feel bad if you don’t give more than you can afford. Feels like a pointless game between people pretending to care for all the wrong reasons. Honestly, I wish they’d understand that people only donate what they’re able to, no more than that!

Hey, just received my memory pack, super excited to get started. Thanks a lot!

In the last day, my mobile's rung three times and my home phone twice. I usually just ignore any number I don’t know. My rule’s simple - if it’s important, like from work, they’ll leave a voicemail or text. No message means it was probably just a spam or some pointless call.

I missed a call from this number and since I’ve registered for the Alzheimer's memory walk, it makes sense. Cheers for the heads up!

My gran’s got Alzheimer’s. I signed up for the memory walk and picked email as how they should get in touch. Instead, they kept ringing my phone, and I ended up missing three calls. If they’d used email like I asked, I woulda seen it straight away.

This number’s been ringing me quite a lot lately. I looked it up online and it’s definitely one of those annoying nuisance calls. When you search a legit number, the company name usually pops up straightaway. Honestly, it’s best to just not pick up. They’re probably just trying to sell you something like insurance or PPI. They might even mention some supposed car accident you had - just a way to catch people out. Total scam in my opinion.

Never heard of this number, so I just ignored it. How on earth do they get hold of your mobile if you only share it with close mates? I've blocked every annoying call on my home phone - those international ones, withheld numbers, out-of-area nonsense - but now they're pestering my mobile instead. What’s the secret to keeping your number private these days? It’s getting ridiculous!

No clue who they are, but I’m not interested in talking to them at all. Every time I pick up, they just drop the call. It’s pretty annoying.

Did anyone get a call from someone asking about joining an Alzheimers Walk? They rang me to ask some questions and stuff.

I got a call from this number just now. It only rang a couple times before I answered, and then some automated voice started talking about how they’re calling on behalf of different charities. They said they’d ring again, but if I didn’t want to be contacted I should call that number back. No way I'm bothering with that rubbish.
