Got a call out of the blue from someone claiming to be with Upgrade Your Phone, supposedly an official partner of EE, pushing a phone upgrade. They started asking for my personal info straight away. When I questioned how I could be sure they were legit, they kind of fumbled and couldn’t give a proper answer. They tried to keep me on the line saying I was only confirming details they already had, but I told them to share the info first and I’d verify it. After that, they refused, citing data protection, so I just hung up.

So I picked up the call and they said it was EE about some upgrade. They promised the new phone would be with me the very next day. Now it's been a whole week and still no sign of the phone. Quite annoyed!
