After seeing others say the same, it's definitely Scottish Power calling. I'm not keen on them and never will be. How did they even get my number? I didn't give it out. They ring me 3 or 4 times daily for weeks now. They just don't get the word NO, or that I’m not interested, no matter how many times I say it. It’s proper rude and so frustrating, almost feels a bit risky at times.

Got a call from Scottish Power trying to talk about switching my energy deal. When I said I wasn’t the one who sorts that out, the person was really polite and just said thanks and hoped I had a good day. Pretty decent call, really.

Got a call from Scottish Power, they said they wanted to refund me £42 credit but I turned it down since it seemed odd, not something they usually do from what I know. They asked for my bank info which I wasn’t comfortable sharing. The person said her name was Iris and had a gentle Scottish accent. I tried to end the call a few times but she kept trying to keep me on the line, then suddenly just dropped the call.

I've been getting calls from this number loads recently after apparently being "nominated" for a Cadbury chocolate prize on some social media platform. They said no to all other ads but still, my phone won’t stop ringing. It's definitely a dodgy chocolate scam just to grab your details - best to steer clear!

If folks just ignored cold calls, I reckon they'd die out pretty quickly. But since some do pick up, the callers keep at it. Me, I never answer or bother with any firm that rings me out of the blue or sends unwanted letters. I’ve actively stayed clear of a few companies exactly for that reason.

Scottish Power must be on some sort of hiring spree! They kept ringing for days, even at 9pm one evening. I eventually had enough and told them it was getting into harassment territory, demanded they remove my number from their list, and warned I’d be reporting them to OfCom. They haven’t bothered me since.
